It is generally made by honeybees. This golden-color, sweet and thick liquid present in the beehive is extracted and filtered to remove beeswax, dead bees, or pollen. Honey is raw when it is not pasteurized. One way to determine whether the honey is pasteurized or not is by the appearance. Raw honey is cloudy or opaque, with all nutrients and antioxidants. It can be consumed in luke warm water, warm milk, milk shakes and yogurt. It is beneficial in treating cough, cholesterol and blood pressure.
