Natural Honey

Honey is an ancient product produced by bees from the nectar they collect from flowers. It is a food easy to digest, providing a source of energy. Besides being used as a sweetener instead of sugar, honey has always been recognized due to their therapeutic properties. It is important to note that natural honey crystallizes, especially in winter. It is consist of carbohydrates such as glucose and fructose; by minerals such as calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, phosphorus and potassium, for amino acids, organic acids such as acetic acid and citric acid which is a vitamin B complex and vitamins C, D and E. Honey also has a considerable level of antioxidants such as flavonoids and phenolic compounds.
